Your plugin works like a charm. I found that I needed a way to filter the results from the front page as they were a bit overwhelming, plus they were always superceeding any posts that I wrote myself. I used a plugins to help: exclude categories and sticky posts. I made any posts that I personally wrote stickly so that they always were at the top of my front page.
